Who runs TonTV?

TonTV is a service for vertical short dramas. It runs as a Telegram Mini App and a Telegram bot. It is operated by TON Corporation (“TonTV”, “we”, “us”). Our contact details are on the Company & Support page, and you can always write to support@tontv.io.

TonTV is not made by, endorsed by or connected to Telegram. Telegram is a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy.

These Terms govern your use of TonTV. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data. Using TonTV does not replace any separate consent the law requires. If you buy VIP, the VIP Terms apply as well. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use TonTV.

Who can use TonTV?

• Age. You must be at least 14 if you live in Korea, and at least 16 in Vietnam and everywhere else. If your local law sets a higher age, that age applies. If you are under 19 in Korea, or under 18 elsewhere, you need a parent's or legal guardian's permission to buy VIP. Any stricter local rule also applies. In Korea, you or your legal guardian can cancel a purchase made without the consent the law requires.
• Adult titles. Titles rated 18+ are currently not available to play. Some categories show a mature-content warning before you enter. A warning or confirmation never unlocks a restricted title. Some titles may not be available in your country.
• Your Telegram account. You use TonTV through your Telegram account. You are responsible for that account and for following Telegram's terms.
• One person, one account. Don't open or use accounts for other people, and don't use more than one account to collect rewards.

What does TonTV offer?

• Watching. Free to watch with ads. Titles, episodes, release dates and availability can change. Some titles can be removed or limited to certain countries because of licences or the law.
• VIP. A paid 30-day membership that skips ads. Price, renewal and refunds are in the VIP Terms.
• TP (Ton Points). Points you earn inside TonTV for eligible activities. See the TP Policy.
• Other features, such as referrals, comments, creator support and the Market. Some are limited, switched off or marked “coming soon”. We may add, change or stop a feature.

Ads

Free viewing has one video ad at the end of each episode, up to 15 seconds. It plays after the episode ends and before the next one starts. There are no ads in the middle of an episode. If no ad is available, the next episode starts right away.

The ad can be a global ad or one for viewers in your country, chosen at random. If a sponsor has booked that slot, you see the sponsor's ad.

If you watch an eligible ad all the way through (our server counts an ad as watched when at least 80% of it has played), TP is added to your balance. The amount of TP and the daily limit are shown in the app. If you close an ad early, you get no TP for that ad. Once you reach the daily limit, ads still play but give 0 TP.

VIP skips these ads. A VIP member can also choose to watch rewarded ads for a higher reward.

Ads come from TonTV and from advertising partners. An ad is not a recommendation from TonTV. More in Ads & Tracking.

TP and rewards

TP is not money. It is not cash, a deposit or stored value. It has no cash value, and you can't buy it with money or crypto.

You can't sell TP, lend it, send it to other people or exchange it outside TonTV. The one exception is asking to convert TP into TONX, which is explained in the TP Policy. Watching an episode on its own does not earn TP.

Our server decides whether a reward is credited. We can change how rewards work, and we can correct or take back rewards that were given by mistake, by cheating or by abusing the system, or that go against these Terms.

TP has no expiry date today. If that ever changes, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.

What you can't do

Please don't:

• break the law or someone else's rights;
• use bots, scripts, emulators, extra accounts, VPNs or location tricks to collect rewards unfairly, skip ads or get around limits;
• copy, scrape or reverse engineer TonTV, its videos or its data, or record and share the videos;
• post anything illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, misleading or spammy, anything that sexually exploits minors or otherwise puts their safety at risk, or anyone else's personal information;
• pretend to be TonTV, Telegram or another person, or ask anyone for passwords, login codes or wallet keys;
• interfere with TonTV's security, payments or other people's use.

Our Community Guidelines explain how we handle reports. If you break these Terms, we may remove content, hold back or reverse rewards, limit features, or suspend or close your account. We will tell you why where the law says we must.

Videos, content and what you post

The videos, titles, artwork, the TonTV name and logo, and the TonTV software belong to TonTV or the people who license them to us. You may watch the content in the app for yourself, not for business use. This right is personal, limited and can be withdrawn. All other rights stay with their owners. Rights holders can report a problem through Copyright & Reports.

If you post a comment or other content, it stays yours. You give TonTV a worldwide, non-exclusive, free licence to host, show and share it inside TonTV for as long as it is posted, and as needed to run and promote the service. You promise you have the right to post it.

Payments and refunds

You can pay for VIP with Telegram Stars or with TP. Inside Telegram, digital purchases are paid with Stars, as Telegram requires. Prices, auto-renewal, cancelling and refunds are in the VIP Terms. Telegram's own rules for Stars are in Telegram's Stars terms.

Telegram support can't solve purchases made in TonTV. For payment help, write to support@tontv.io or send /paysupport to the TonTV bot.

Your legal rights as a consumer where you live are not limited by these Terms.

TONX and crypto

New TP-to-TONX conversion requests are currently unavailable. Where the feature is available, you may ask to convert TP into TONX, a token on the TON blockchain. A conversion is completed only after approval and on-chain confirmation, and it may be unavailable in your country or at a given time. TonTV does not accept cryptocurrency as payment for anything. TP cannot be bought with money or cryptocurrency.

Nothing in TonTV is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. TONX may have little or no value. Read the TP Policy before you ask for a conversion.

You are responsible for your own wallet and for any taxes that apply to you.

Other companies we rely on

TonTV depends on Telegram, advertising partners, payment providers, hosting providers and the TON network. We don't control them and can't promise they will always work. If Telegram or another company limits TonTV or a feature, TonTV may be unavailable or may change.

Changes to TonTV, and if we stop VIP

We try to keep TonTV running, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or have errors. We may change, pause or stop TonTV or any feature, and we will give notice where that is reasonable.

If we end paid VIP early for a reason that isn't your breach of these Terms, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for losses where the law makes us responsible. These Terms do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your consumer and personal-data rights stay protected whether you watch for free or pay for VIP.

Stopping, and deleting your account

You can stop using TonTV at any time. To delete your account and data, follow Delete Your Data. We can limit or close your account as described above. Parts of these Terms that are meant to last (such as content rights, responsibility and disputes) continue after you stop.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will show the new version in the app or on this page, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice before a material change takes effect. If a change is not in your favour, we will say so clearly.

If you keep using TonTV after the change starts, you accept it. If you don't accept it, stop using TonTV. If you have paid for VIP, you can ask for a refund of the unused period.

Which law applies, and if we disagree

The law of the Republic of Korea applies to these Terms. This does not take away the consumer-protection rights that the law of your own country gives you, including in Vietnam. If we disagree, please write to us first at support@tontv.io and give us a chance to put it right.

Courts in the Republic of Korea can decide disputes we can't settle, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to a court there. Consumer dispute services in Korea and Vietnam stay open to you.

Languages and contact

These Terms are also published in other languages. If you live in Vietnam, the Vietnamese version applies to you; if you live in Korea, the Korean version. For other languages, if a translation says something different, the English text applies.
